It lies situated in all its beauty high up in a dreamy side-valley of the Lechtal, embedded between summits, pastures and forests: the pearl of the Lechtal. Gramais, the smallest village in Austria. From the very first moment, it wins the visitors’ hearts with its charming dreaminess, authentic Tirolean ambiance and refreshing solitude.  This unique spot in Tirol has a mere 50 inhabitants, but boasts an incomparable wealth of peace, nature and beauty. The perfect place for spending holidays far away from it all.

At the Gasthof Alpenrose you can enjoy Tirolean culinary delights, as well as cosy rooms and apartments. Our family huts are perfect for families, since they offer plenty of freedom over more than 200m². In our Nature Park Chalets you can also spend unconstrained and unburdened holidays marked by their home comforts  and plenty of surrounding nature.

Our mountain village

Far away from it all, yet right in the middle.
“Bright green on steep slopes”, that is our favourite definition  of the name of Gramais. In the summer this description hits the mark totally . Flowering pastures, shining rocks and mountain lakes glistening  in the sunshine lure one to enjoy hiking, mountaineering, walking or simply marvelling at it all. In the winter the impressive mountain landscape of the Tiroler Lech Nature Park shines in pure white. At an altitude of more than 1,300 metres untouched snow landscapes await the winter and snowshoe hikers, cross-country skiers, leisure skiers and connoisseurs.
