Holidays in the Tiroler Lech Nature Park

Welcome to one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe
The Tiroler Lech Nature Park presents itself pristine and authentic, impressively embedded between the majestic mountain ranges of the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps. With its wild beauty and exceptional variety of species, it captivates adventurers as well as bon vivants. The young and old enjoy the programme mixture of nature, culture and leisure time fun.

Discovering & experiencing the Nature Park
Under the motto “experience” the Tiroler Lech Nature Park offers different exploration tours, thematic trails and events. With the Lech Cycle Way, signposted hiking trails and geocaching routes every single day turns into an adventure.

The last wild river
The centrepiece of the Nature Park is the Lech river, the last wild river in the northern Alps. The landscape is marked by the unrestrained force of the water and by perpetual change. Different habitats can be observed in the wide river bed with its inviting gravel banks. In the riparian forests, the side waters and side valleys  one can find a rare variety of plants and animals.

The Tiroler Lech Nature Park was awarded being the Nature Park of the Year 2017. This shows how unique and special it is.
